Interested in Joining the Mosaic Family?

mosaic boston church logoDear Friends,

One of the reasons we've named our church "Mosaic" is because of the beauty God creates when different, broken, fragmented people come together as a family, united by the Gospel. The image of Mosaic implies unity and cohesion. It implies deep relationships andthe deepest relationships in life are always defined. This is why we take "membership" seriously at Mosaic. Mosaic is a church. We're not a library, or a country club, or a gym. You don't get a card if you join. That's not what we mean by members and membership. When you join, you commit to our church and our church commits to you. Scripture uses the metaphor of a body to describe the church: ‘‘For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ’‘ (1 Cor. 12:12).

‘‘In love [God] predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ…So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God’‘ (Eph. 1:4-5, 2:19).

If you aren't yet a member of Mosaic Church, we would love to have you attend tomorrow's membership class held at Ruggles Baptist church from 9am to noon. Attending the class doesn't obligate you to join, so come and learn what it means to become part of the Mosaic God is making in Boston. The class is for both Mosaic Boston and Mosaic Allston.

Praying for you, Pastor Jan
