Dear Mosaic Family,Last week we wrapped up our "Mystic" series, which focused on helping you "train yourself for godliness" and "work out your salvation." The series was focused on getting spiritually "in shape." However, it's easy to get so wrapped up in the process of training, that we forget the point of training. The point of training isn't to train, but to do! We train ourselves for godliness, in order to live lives of godliness. The point of growing in faith is to also grow in works. The point of deepening our roots in the Gospel, is to bear the fruit of the Gospel, which testifies to the power of the Gospel in our lives.
This is why we're following up the Mystic series by jumping back into the book of Acts. The book of Acts is all about what the first Christians did! Their faith transformed their lives and ultimately transformed the world. Join us tomorrow as we study Acts 18, where the big idea is: "Do not be Silent!"
Praying for you, Pastor Jan
