Faith & Suffering
Dear Mosaic Family,It's easy to love and thank God when everything is going well in your life. This was precisely Satan's point concerning Job when he tells God: "Does Job fear God for no reason? Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land." So the Lord allows Satan to storm-test Job's faith. After Job loses everything, his faith gives him the strength to say: "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." Has your faith been storm tested? Does your faith provide you with resources to draw from during the most difficult seasons of life? Be sure to join us tomorrow as we worship together and study James 5:7-12, where James teaches us to suffer well.
Praying for you, Pastor Jan
