Friends: Worth the Risk?

Dear Mosaic Boston Family,

We had an awesome time last week celebrating the victory of our risen Lord, Jesus Christ! Now that Easter is past, however, a harsh reality is hovering on the horizon.

This is the time of year when great friends from Mosaic and around the city begin to announce that, over the summer, they’ll be moving away for work or school. It’s hard to not grow jaded in a city like Boston, and I know many people are tempted to wonder if investing in relationships here is worth the risk.

This week we are kicking off a new series called “People Skills” and starting off with the topic of friendship. How do we make friends, keep friends, and for cynical Bostonians like us, is it even worth the effort?

The good news is that it is worth it, and Scripture reveals both the wisdom and the power that are necessary for us to have amazing friendships no matter what life throws our way. Join us this Sunday as we kick off our new sermon series, learn some People Skills, and discover the amazing hope that Christ brings into our relationships.

God bless,

Pastor Shane
