How to definitely miss God's Plan A for your life

Dear Mosaic Boston Family,

Does God have a plan for your life? Does He have different plans like Verizon (different levels or versions)? Is there a Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, etc?

If He does have a "Plan A" for your life, can I miss it? Jesus did teach us to pray, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." So if we have to pray for God's will to be done in our lives, is there some sense, some times, some ways, where I miss out on His Plan A?

Also, If He does have a "Plan A" for my life, can I make sure I miss out on it? His Plan A is probably hard, and would require I do uncomfortable things. What if He calls me to be poor? What if He calls me to be not famous? What if he calls me to suffer like Job? What if He calls me to be a missionary overseas, or even worse, what if He calls me to stay in Boston and tell Bostonian pagans about Jesus? So can I make sure I get Plan B or C, plans, which most likely aren't as difficult. Sure, they probably aren't as rewarding, but getting a silver medal is still pretty good, right?

If you've ever asked similar questions, you're in luck! Tomorrow, as we study Luke 5:1-11, I'm going to give you a sure guide on how you can definitely miss God's Plan A for your life.

Praying for you,
Pastor Jan
