Rhythms: Worship

Dear Mosaic Boston Family,

Last week, we talked about the Spiritual Rhythm of Community as an indispensable part of our growth in spiritual maturity and health, both personally and corporately. If you missed last Sunday due to the inclement weather, please listen to the sermon online (especially if you consider Mosaic Boston Brookline your church, but have not become a member or joined a community group, yet). By the way, we are holding our "Mosaic Membership 101" class tomorrow, 1-3pm (RSVP by emailing admin@mosaicboston.com).

This Sunday, we are excited to have Pastor Ivey Rhodes, Lead Pastor of Mosaic Boston Jamaica Plain, bring a powerful word from God about living a lifestyle of worship. We love Pastor Ivey and his family, and we're praying for the Holy Spirit to continue working powerfully through him and Mosaic JP to reach the tens of thousands of people living in JP without salvific knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ivey was born in downtown Charleston, SC and raised all over the Carolinas. His life was radically changed by the Gospel when he was 14 years old. He began to feel the call of God toward full-time vocational ministry at 16. In 2006 Ivey married Allie, the love of his life. They now have four beautiful children: Maggie, Quentin, Levi, and Olan. In 2007 he completed his B.A. in Religion and Christian Leadership at Charleston Southern University. and in 2016 he finished his Masters of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In September of 2016 Pastor Ivey and his family planted their lives in Boston in order to start a church in Jamaica Plain.

Most importantly, Pastor Ivey is an anointed and mighty man of God, who loves the Lord with all of His heart, soul, strength and mind. He and his family have sacrificed much to plant Mosaic JP, and we support them in every we can. Would you consider committing to pray daily for him, his family, and their work?

Praying for you,
Pastor Jan
