Stop Dating the Church

Dear Friends,Jesus calls you to a personal relationship with God, but not a private one. Your relationship with Jesus is yours alone, but you shouldn't be alone. We need other Christians in our lives who love us, know us, and push us in our relationship with God. It's hard to give yourself a hug, or wise counsel, or a swift kick in the rear (by speaking the truth in love) when you need it.

Therefore, we encourage you to stop dating the church and commit to a body of believers (maybe even Mosaic!).

We are offering you two practical ways of doing this now:

  • Join a community group. Community Groups are relaunching this week and if you're not part of a group, this is the perfect time to join. Sign up for one of our 13 groups here. You can sign up my clicking "(Email)" next to the name of the leader of the group and emailing them your contact info.
  • Become a member of Mosaic: The first step is taking the membership class. The next class is TOMORROW, June 1, 2013. 9am-noon. 30 Gordon St. Allston, MA, 02134. Taking the class doesn't automatically make you a member, but it is a necessary step in the membership process.

Praying for you, Pastor Jan
